By accessing or using Orvay, you agree to the following terms:
1. Peer Support Only
Orvay offers peer support and wellness tools but does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. All interactions are between community members, not licensed professionals.
2. Voluntary Participation
All peer support sessions are voluntary and conducted by community members, not licensed professionals. Participation is entirely at your discretion.
3. Emergency Situations
In case of emergency or severe distress, you agree to seek immediate help from emergency services or qualified mental health professionals rather than relying solely on this platform.
4. Use at Own Risk
Your use of Orvay is at your own risk. Orvay disclaims all liability for any harm or damages resulting from your use of the platform.
5. Content Monitoring
Orvay's admin team monitors user content for safety but cannot guarantee immediate crisis intervention or response. This platform is not a crisis intervention service.
6. Payment Terms
Payment for premium features is non-refundable and processed securely via PayPal. Premium features enhance peer support but do not constitute professional services.
7. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
Your privacy is important to us. Orvay collects and stores your data to provide and improve the platform's services.
Data Storage
Personal information such as email and authentication data is stored securely in a Neon PostgreSQL database with industry-standard encryption.
User Data
Journal entries, mood tracking data, and support call logs are accessible only by you and authorized admins for safety monitoring purposes.
Audio Files
Audio files and media are securely stored and managed via Vercel Blob storage with appropriate access controls.
Payment Information
Your payment information is handled through PayPal and is not stored by Orvay directly. We only receive confirmation of successful payments.
Third-Party Integrations
We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required by law or to provide services (e.g., Calendly for support calls, PayPal for payments).
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request data deletion by contacting us at emoviaai@gmail.com.
Onboarding & Reminders
During onboarding and throughout your use of the platform, we provide clear disclaimers about the nature of our peer support services and the importance of professional mental health care.
Community Guidelines
All users are expected to maintain respectful, supportive interactions. Harassment, spam, or inappropriate content will result in account suspension.
Platform Limitations
While we strive to provide a safe and supportive environment, Orvay cannot guarantee immediate response to crisis situations or replace professional mental health services.
